Winnipeg Folk Festival
The Winnipeg Folk Festival is an exciting internationally-acclaimed music event featuring over 60 acts; six daytime stages, evening Main Stage; Family Area with specially programmed music and children’s activities; Hand Made Craft Village brimming with one-of-a-kind collectibles; and Food Court to satisfy any appetite.

Winnipeg Comedy Festival
A major comedy event, the Winnipeg Comedy Festival involves over 40 acts and performers. Free and paid performances are held at a dozen venues around the city with the Gas Station Theatre in Osborne Village the main venue.

Winnipeg International Children’s Festival
The Winnipeg International Children’s Festival, is an annual four- day outdoor event offering a diversity of world-standard entertainers and participatory workshops. Activities are educational, entertaining and accessible to young people from all social, economic and ethnic backgrounds.

Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival
This annual celebration of live theatre, showcases over 120 performing companies from near and far presenting comedy, drama, dance and everything in between over 11 jam-packed days.

Santa Claus Parade
The Power Smart/Winnipeg Jaycees Santa Claus Parade combines the magic, wonder and excitement that herald the holiday season and wraps it up in one unique event. A moving panorama of lights, colour and music, it inspires delight in the eyes of children and those who are children at heart.

Our annual multi-cultural summer festival, Folklorama is about exploring the cultures of the world, tasting traditional home-cooked food, dancing to the beat of global sounds and traveling the planet in one diverse city. Folklorama events take place in a variety of interesting venues around Winnipeg.

Associated Manitoba Arts Festivals
Associated Manitoba Arts Festivals is an umbrella organization for Manitoba’s numerous fine arts festivals, providing support services and resources such as provincial competitions, public relations, workshops, adjudication services, access to our resource centre, provincial syllabus; and ensuring high uniform standards province wide..

Caripeg Carnival
Caripeg Carnival is an opportunity to develop, nurture and share Caribbean culture with all Winnipeggers. The Miss Caripeg Pageant, held in June, offers young women an occasion to display their enthusiasm for and knowledge of Caribbean culture. In early July Caripeg Carnival Parade is a highlight of the festival.
