Mont Saint-Michel, best of France
This tidal Island located in Normandy is very appealing to tourists. It has a deep interesting history dating from the 6th century and the view of the city from outside is breathtaking.
One of the highlights of the city is the Abbey of Mont Saint Michel, once a monastery, also a prison during the French Revolution, it displays interesting historical pieces. Another highlight to visit is the Notre-Dame Sous Terre Chapel, built in 966.
Mont Saint Michel is an UNESCO World Heritage Site and a beautiful, well-preserved sample of medieval Architecture.
