Aquarium, La Rochelle
Opened in 1988, this aquarium is a must for travelers in Rochelle. The Building is made of glass and it is located in Rochelle`s harbor. Displaying over 12 000 marine animals.
Besides offering a spectacular experience to people, the Rochelle Aquarium protects and studies different sea species, offers a place dedicated to culture and complete training and they have even worked in a care programme for sea turtles for many years.
It is possible to walk through glass tunnels and corridor, see 20 species of sharks in a huge tank, and much more in 70 different sections. It is possible to have a coffee or a drink in the terrace.
