Best of Whistler

Tommy Africa's
Here international guest DJs play alternative and progressive dance music. The trademark shooters (rapidly consumed shot glasses of undiluted alcholic conconctions) make for a lively crowd.

Rainbow Theatre
In the Whistler Conference Centre, this theater shows first-run movies twice nightly for C$5 per person (C$2 Tuesdays).

Dubh Linn Gate Pub
As its name implies, this place has an Irish theme. The staff pours a decent pint of Guinness and serves good Irish food. Under-19s are welcome in the restaurant section.

Maurice Young Millennium Place
You can catch theatrical, dance, live music, and other performances here. The facility also has arts, child care, and teen centers, as well as drop-in yoga and dance classes. Ecumenical church services are held here Sunday morning.

Buffalo Bill's Bar & Grill
The DJs here play mainstream music for an older (over 25) crowd, and well-known bands jam once or twice a month.

BrewHouse
This place brews six of its own ales and lagers in a big woodsy building with fireplaces, pool tables, and a patio. The attached restaurant (open to minors) is a good place for casual meals.
