There are several minibus companies connecting St John's with the towns and villages across the island, but the biggest and most reliable is DRL Coachlines (tel 738-8088, www .drlgroup.com ), which has daily departures from the airport and the Education Building at Memorial University for towns along the Trans-Canada: principal stops are Clarenville ($28), Gander ($42), Grand Falls-Windsor ($52), Deer Lake ($69), Corner Brook ($73), Stephenville ($79) and Channel-Port aux Basques ($90).

By Air
The Saint John Airport is located 16 KM from the centre of the city. The cost for a cab is approximately $25.00 per person one-way. An official shuttle service operates corresponding with time of major arrivals and departures. Airport limousine service is available for approximately $35.00 per trip.
