Festivals in St.John'sSummer Craft Fair The Newfoundland, And Labrador Craft Development Association puts on crafts shows four times a year. With the preliminaries out of the way, the live music begins featuring Kelly Russell & Friends playing lively & authentic Newfoundland Music. Royal St. John's Regatta North America's oldest continuing sporting event. It began in 1826 with fishermen at the helm; nowadays, the regatta combines experienced crews in a day-long series of fixed-seat rowing races and a huge garden party and 50,000 cheering spectators. Summerdance The province's annual festival of dance on the front lawn of the Fluvarium. Brigus Blueberry Festival A fun-filled weekend for all ages.
