Sound Symposium
Highlights include the noontime medley of harbor ship horns; citywide theater, workshops, and dance; and Newfoundland, folk, electronic, jazz, New Age, and African concerts

Dance Up
Held at the Masonic Hall, Cathedral Street, St. John's. Learn the basic moves for participation in Newfoundland Set Dancing. With the preliminaries out of the way, the live music begins featuring Kelly Russell & Friends playing lively & authentic Newfoundland Music.

Royal St. John's Regatta
North America's oldest continuing sporting event. It began in 1826 with fishermen at the helm; nowadays, the regatta combines experienced crews in a day-long series of fixed-seat rowing races and a huge garden party and 50,000 cheering spectators.

Summerdance
The province's annual festival of dance on the front lawn of the Fluvarium.

Brigus Blueberry Festival
A fun-filled weekend for all ages. Folk festival, cash bar, parade, pie eating contest, Missed Pageant, craft tables, baked goods, traditional food, moose burgers, horse & buggy rides, games of chance, pre-teen, teen and adult dances.
